Job Description	Mainframe Storage Support: Candidate will be responsible for the Management of Storage and related devices within a mainframe complex. Primary Job Responsibilities: # Support problem and change tickets for storage systems support work involving problem determination and implementation of changes to storage devices, data backups, software, applications or network systems. The work consists of performing primarily routine and standardized sets of tasks. The work may involve a series of repeatable tasks and steps that are followed when addressing service needs or situations for a particular account. # Please be aware candidate might have to work in customer work hours- US , Europe and Asia Pacific( weekends and holidays as oncall staff).
Desired Profile	Candidate should posses working knowledge of Storage fundamentals, z/OS(MVS) fundamentals, and Storage Devices. Candidate should posses basic knowledge on Mainframe ZOS, DB2 & JES. # Required English : Fluent # Candidate will be expected to have basic knowledge in at least one or more of the following: Storage hardware subsystems including IBM, EMC, HDS, DASD and Removable Media Devices. z/OS Operating System, Z Series Hardware, Mainframe Storage Management installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant technologies. MF - TSO , JCL, VSAM MF - Tape Management, CA-1 / DFSMSRMM MF - DASD Management,ISMF, DFHSM, DFSMShsm, DFSMMSrmm, ICF Catalog Management, CA-Disk, FDR/ABR and others products # Hand's-on with System z storage data migration and replication is an added advantage. knowledge of DS8000, Copy Services functions (Flashcopy etc..) knowledge of current mainframe tape solutions (eg, TS7720, TS7740, and TS3500) knowledge of tape migration at the application level (eg. DFHSM, CA-Dispatch, Control-D) and using a tape copy product (eg. OpenTech Systems Tape/Copy) 2 to 3 years of Experience Minimum 15 years of education required Storage SYSTEM PROGRAMMER Required Bachelor's Degree English: Fluent
